The Open Door Architecture Festival, organized by Arkitera Architecture Center, continues this year with the support of Unigen. Would you like to be part of this project as a narrator?
The Open Door Architecture Festival, organized by Arkitera Architecture Center, continues this year with the support of Unigen.
Aiming to showcase Istanbul’s built heritage to the public and provide access to buildings that are normally closed, the Open Door Architecture Festival will take place this year from October 16–23, 2024.
Those interested in exploring the city’s cultural and architectural fabric more closely can register for the guided tours.
Do You Want to Be a Narrator at the Festival?
Tours, which have limited capacity, will be conducted with narrators selected from students or graduates of architecture, urban and regional planning, interior architecture, or landscape architecture programs.

Requirements for Narrators

Aged between 20-25.

Current 3rd or 4th-year students, graduates, or current master’s students in architecture, urban and regional planning, interior architecture, or landscape architecture programs.

Living in Istanbul and available between October 31 – November 7.

Interested in Istanbul and its history, and enjoys research.

Strong verbal communication skills and organizational abilities.

Applications will be evaluated by Arkitera and Unigen, and selected narrators will be contacted.
