Since the establishment of modulyss, our people, processes and products have been constantly monitored for their environmental impact. This understanding has allowed us to produce products that do not harm the environment and has helped us develop a sustainable workflow over the years.
As early as 2007, we started processing cutting waste to produce our Back2Back soleplate. One year after this success, we became the first carpet tile manufacturer in Europe to use recycled material from carpet yarns, which we call Econyl70. In 2011, Aquafil produced ECONYL yarn, which is 100% recycled. This yarn is currently the basis of some of modulyss' sustainable carpet tile collections.
We also raise awareness through our partnership with Healthy Seas in products that have expired and in CO2 balancing projects.
